KUOW – Manager, Community Engagement

Join Seattle’s NPR News and Information station as our Manager, Community Engagement: work to strengthen and expand KUOW relationships and relevance by connecting people, resources and organizations within the Puget Sound region. 

Bachelor’s degree in PR, Journalism, Ed, Marketing, Development or a related field and four yrs combo of education, training and/or experience in community building and outreach and/or organizational communications. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may substitute for the stated requirements. Must have: marketing and public speaking experience; ability to identify issues of small and large communities; organize and oversee events/forums; demonstrated skills in social networking and w/new media tools.  Familiarity with nonprofit environment and/or public media highly desirable. Excellent written /verbal skills required.
