This is astute advice for how to email super busy people — the executive editor, a hiring manager, the CEO, the AAJA president and other people who get a hailstorm of email.
I don’t think it applies to journalists fielding pitches from PR people. Personally, I like to see full press releases at the bottom of emails if it’s a story pitch.
